There are some web type mark on my lens elements (outside & inside).
These are Fungus marks on elements, which usually comes when temperature changes. They can be cleaned, but we advise you to go to a professional.
My canon lens is showing Err-01, Lens is not connecting with camera body, the err telling us to clean the contacts but after cleaning the contacts, it still doesn’t work.
Actually this Err message is refer to faulty aperture unit in lens or faulty circuit in lens. However there are some more problems behind it but these are two most common causes for this error. Cleaning the contacts could do work sometimes but if it’s not working then you need to visit the professional.

I have a Nikon D5100 DSLR.
I can see some smudge at the centre of its 18-55 mm lens, which I cannot clean. This means that it is some kind of damage.
Is it possible to repair such issues with the lens?
Yes, this is possible. I think it’s a moisture Mark or could be a fungus. We can clean it.
My Nikon's 105mm Kit Lens AF motor is moving up and down but its not locking on object. Also making wierd noise.
Dear Sir/Maám, It could be a issue of faulty AF sensor. The AF sensor is not able to provide signals to motherboard so the motor is not locking on the object/subject.
Canon 18-55mm kit lens does not focusing many times.
It could be a issue of Broken FPC in lens.
