Tokina 16-28mm, F2.8, FX Zoom lens.
Got dipped in holy colour(GULAAL) on HOLI. When I started opening it I thought it would be not that much and should be in two or three barrels. But as I have started it opening I found that colour was in very big amount and it was in every barrel and in every corner of the lens. So I had to open each and every barrel and 150 + screws. You won’t believe but it was my first attempt on this lens to open this much. While I was opening the lens it was like “let’s open this barrel or let’s open this screw.” And in this “let’s open” I have dismantle whole lens. And I was thinking how would I am going to make it fit in its original & working condition. But with patience and my will I did it. But there was some more in my destiny to face. So I accidentally broke one gear in its motor unit, which I couldn’t found anywhere in market so had to make another gear through JUGAAD technology. Although it took me another two hours. But finally lens was working and client cum friend was happy. SO AM I.
