Canon 70-200mm, 2.8, IS-2.
Dropped, Filter Broken, Filter Mount got Bend, Jammed Focus and Zoom Ring.
Service centre estimated it 35000-40000rs. with fifteen days time.
Client came to me highly recommended on Saturday, so it became a question of Prestige issue.
Although I don't do my work on the sake of prestige. But my elder brother who recommended him told me one thing,

So in the HORDE OF DEMONTESIATION POSTS, I am presenting some different to change your mood.
After having conversation with my brother, I asked client to left the lens at my work place and also asked him to wait for couple of days. He showed his uttermost faith in my brother that he told him that only i can do it. I did hold his hand for a second as I have promised him that I will try my level best.
I have started working on it on past Monday because it was a holiday and I needed a whole day without any distraction.
Took me whole day 12:00pm to 8:00pm. Opened every screw, every element, and eventually reached at fault. Took me two hours only to fix the fault.
And still major problem stood in front of me, because it was my first time to repair this particular model. I haven't have idea of assembling this lens .
But with the experience of all these years and had have patience like a person standing in a Que for replacement of currency.
I did assembled it. And when your hardcore Labour result comes in a positive way as you suppose it should be.
You all knows what happened when you get new currency after hours of bank Que.
