NIKON 55-300mm VR and SIGMA 18-50mm f/2.8mm.
Couple of days back, A Client brought those lenses to us for repair.
When I did open lenses for an estimate or assessment I found that both lenses were drop-damaged. Number of small parts broken and couple of others were missing like zoom brush
From past many days I have been doing routine work although I always love my work but didn’t get any job in which I could do some creative or innovative and these two lenses brought me the chance to do so.
So I took it as a challenge and it took me 4.5 hours to make them work like original.
MADE ZOOM BRUSH FROM WASTE METAL PLATE, TWO BUSHES FROM PLASTIC, ONE MOTOR GEAR & ONE APERTURE LEVER.
Every second spent on these lenses filled me with new energy and positivity.
I hope to see more work like this.
Clients faith or believe in me is the most important thing which matters most to complete any job work but sometimes we do face situations where we don’t get spares and unavailability of them make us helpless. But still trying is our moto......
